Newell McElwee, PharmD, MSPH, is Executive Director of U.S. Outcomes Research, Merck & Co., Inc. Dr. McElwee serves an active role on many committees including the Steering Committee for the AHRQ Centers for Education, Research, & Training, the Advisory Board for the Institute for Clinical & Economic Review at Harvard Medical School, the External Advisory Board for the Section on Value & Comparative Effectiveness at NYU, the Corporate Advisory Board at the Univ. of Washington School of Pharmacy, and the Executive Committee for the Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine's Roundtable on Health Disparities & Inequities.
